International Advocacy and Reporting Programs
Tulip Foundation for WHRDs performs an effective role in the mechanisms of the United Nations in Geneva through its International Advocacy and Reporting Program.

Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW)
The Foundation has previously participated in writing shadow reports for CEDAW. This participation is crucial in the context of Iraq, where women's rights are often challenged by socio-political factors. By contributing to CEDAW and Universal Periodic Reports (UPR) through shadow reports, the Foundation ensures that the voices and experiences of Iraqi women are represented at an international level, highlighting areas where the government needs to improve its compliance with international human rights standards. This advocacy is vital for driving policy changes and promoting gender equality in Iraq.
The Tulip Foundation actively engages in advocating for diverse human rights issues, including the needs of families with disabilities and the fight against torture. By participating in writing Shadaw report sending to the United Nation Mechanisms on the families of individuals with disabilities, the foundation highlights the unique challenges these families face and advocates for enhanced support and resources to improve their lives. Additionally, the foundation's involvement in creating shadaw report on torture underscores its commitment to documenting and addressing instances of torture, advocating for the protection and rights of victims. This dual focus on disability and torture demonstrates the foundation's comprehensive approach to human rights advocacy, aiming to foster a more inclusive and just society.

Data Collection and Needs Assessment for IDPs and Women Affected by ISIS

Tulip Foundation closely cooperates with Strategic funding solution ( SFS), where we work on collecting data and conducting analyses, as well as writing assessment reports on the needs of IDPs, women affected by ISIS, and women and girls in slum areas, villages, and rural regions. The aim is to assess the situation of boys and girls in these areas to plan and implement projects that empower their capabilities. Additionally, we are providing psychological and legal counseling to these vulnerable groups.
